The Shiatsu College

Shiatsu is a form of healing through touch using finger pressure, movement and mental focus to relax, restore and revitalise the body's whole system. The Shiatsu College began as a group of 5 of the most experienced teachers in the British Shiatsu Community. It is now a democratic network of schools whose teachers share similar ideals and training. The college is now in its 10th year and will be running Introductory Weekends, a 3-year Practitioner Training, Post-Graduate Courses and a Teaching Clinic.

On the introductory course members will learn the basic principles of Shiatsu and hence will learn a way to use    touch to access the body's energy channels. These principles will establish an effective and easy-to-learn system for giving Shiatsu to family and friends. There will be a free Open Day on Saturday 12th September and courses are held weekdays and weekends.
